When Mae finds a beautiful, colorful feather, she wonders who it belongs to. Mae sets out to find its owner, but as she travels through the jungle, she meets animals who don’t look quite like her. There's Faith the flamingo, whose feathers are all different colors, and Ollie the owl, who wears glasses.

At first, Mae wonders if she’ll fit in with all these animals who seem so different from her. But she soon learns that everyone has something special about them, and being different is what makes us unique and important. In the end, Mae discovers that true self-acceptance comes from embracing who you are, no matter how you look.
